With 30 years of financial services experience, spanning investment banking, capital markets, wealth management and asset management, Michele Faissola provides expert, independent advice to a range of clients.

Previously, he served as Head of Asset & Wealth Management at Deutsche Bank, one of the four divisions of the bank, managing total client assets of almost USD 1.3 trillion. He was also a member of the Deutsche Bank Group Executive Committee. In this role he supervised a team of over 6,000 people in 33 countries. He also chaired DWS Asset Management (Frankfurt) and Deutsche Bank Switzerland.

Prior to this role, Faissola was responsible for Deutsche Bank's Global Rates and Commodity unit and a member of the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Division Executive Committee. He also chaired the Risk Committee of the division.

In 2016 Michele Faissola co-founded F.A.B. Partners, an investment platform gathering a small number of sophisticated investors with a long-term investment profile. He is currently the CEO of one of the largest family offices in the world and continues to advise several large investors around the globe.

Faissola has played an active part in shaping the financial industry and has had roles as Vice Chairman of ISDA (International Swaps and Derivatives Association), Chairman of the GFMA (Global Financial Markets Association) and was a Member of the Board of AFME (Association for Financial Markets in Europe).

He is currently a board member of Printemps SA, a large French retailer.

He is married with three children and lives in London. When not working, his interests include contemporary art, skiing and car racing.

Ado is the Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Oil Limited as well as its Nigerian subsidiary, Heritage Energy Operational Services Limited (HEOSL); operator of the OML 30 Joint Venture between NNPC Exploration and Production Limited (NNPC E&P Ltd) and Shoreline Natural Resources Limited (SNRL).

Prior to joining Heritage Ado was Senior Vice President Sub Saharan Africa at Baker Hughes. He is a senior international business-minded executive with global leadership experience. He possesses a proven ability to effectively manage international and cross-functional teams while inspiring positive outcomes for internal and external stakeholders, in dynamic and complex environments. Ado operates with a unique results oriented leadership style and is people and safety focused.

Ado has lived and worked across multiple countries in Europe, Africa, Latin America, Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Russia & the Caspian.

He holds a Masters of Engineering degree in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College London, a Diploma in Real-Time Oilfield Project Management from Heriot-Watt University Scotland, and several leadership and management development programs.

With over 27 years industry experience, Ado has worked and held positions of increasing responsibilities in various world class organizations including General Electric where he served as President Sub-Saharan Africa and Schlumberger Oilfield Services where he served as Vice-President & Group Managing Director, West Africa.

When not working, Ado channels his energy into programmes for development in Africa through education and works with several children’s charities and NGOs in furtherance of this cause.
